Spent a day in my hometown, went to an outdoor concert and my sisters wanted to take PICTURES.

Enjoying my two week vacations so far. Great people, great finds, great food.
I ate this enormous smoked meat sandwich yesterday at Schwartz’s on St-Laurent Street with a side of french fries and it was pure heaven.
I also went all the way up the stairs (256!) to the Mont Royal observatory. The gorgeous weather made for an amazing view of the city I lived in for many years.
Next stops: Quebec City, Washington, New York.

It started with a boy turning 17…

That gorgeous birthday cake made an entrance but quickly vanished.
Poker chips were won and lost.

“Happy birthday to you”, they sang. And I smiled, loving every minute of it.
