14 km later!, originally uploaded by leatitia.

Woah! I went jogging this morning and I thought I’d try to new route.

I felt good and kept going, and going. At one point, I knew my body had passed the 10k mark as it’s my longest distance. Still, I pushed through it and couldn’t wait to get home to check how long I’ve run.

It ended up being just over 14 km! The longest I’ve ever run! I’m thinking… half-marathon in the spring? I’m tired, but so proud. It’s amazing what our bodies can do!

Kelli has a monthly Craft Along project that is always fun to be a part of. Yesterday, she posted this idea of Halloween correspondance. I thought the cards were so cute, I had to give it a try. I had the day off, it was the perfect occasion.

Off to the Post Office to mail letters. How unusual and fun!

We had fun celebrating the fact that my boyfriend passed his citizenship test a few days ago.

I loved being in the middle of all the bus(y)ness.

I felt so tiny in that big world.
Yet, I could look upon them all.

As the photograph goes, the blurry effect makes me happy.

Sunset on the Lincoln Memorial, originally uploaded by leatitia.

One of my favorite evening during my summer trip to NY and DC.

Sunset over the Reflection pool,
Ducks swimming,
People resting on the steps after a long day,
Magestic Lincoln statue watching it all.

Just all around magical.

After a 10k run under the Montreal sun. Happy!

All this painting is tiring!, originally uploaded by leatitia.

My tiny bedroom was painted this very dark blue, not my favorite color.

Thanks to our dear Bou Bear, it is now sparkling white! All this painting tiring him, so I let him rest on the pillows for a bit.

Spent a day in my hometown, went to an outdoor concert and my sisters wanted to take PICTURES.

We now have a bunch of cute pictures of us.

Enjoying my two week vacations so far. Great people, great finds, great food.

I ate this enormous smoked meat sandwich yesterday at Schwartz’s on St-Laurent Street with a side of french fries and it was pure heaven.

I also went all the way up the stairs (256!) to the Mont Royal observatory. The gorgeous weather made for an amazing view of the city I lived in for many years.

Next stops: Quebec City, Washington, New York.
